JAKARTA PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk approved financing to PT Angkasa Pura II (AP II) worth Rp500 billion. This financing facility will be used by AP II for the completion of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Terminal 2 revitalization project.

Bank Muamalat President Director Achmad K. Permana said, after the entry of new investors, namely the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) earlier this year, his party did start to increase the distribution of financing.

According to him, this collaboration with Angkasa Pura II is expected to increase the company's financing portfolio, especially in the corporate segment.

"We know that PT Angkasa Pura II is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) as well as an airport operator that has a very good reputation in managing airports with the highest traffic in Indonesia, including Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Therefore, the distribution of this financing is a good momentum and hopefully it can continue with cooperation in a wider business ecosystem," he said in a written statement on Wednesday, August 31.

Permana added that the company disbursed financing used the contract for the mosque with a maximum tenor of seven years.
