PP GP Ansor Chair: No Akhlak Perpetrator Fitnah Against Erick Thohir

JAKARTA - The chairman of the PP Youth Movement (GP) Ansor, Faisal Saimima, has provided support for the steps taken by the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, who reported Faizal Assegaf to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. The slander committed to Erick Thohir illustrates the figure of Faizal who has no morals and is very heinous. He said Faizal's tweet found that Erick had many wives and did not pay for his children, had the heart and intention. What Faizal did was not only slandering to damage the good name, but also tarnish the honor of Erick's family. Moreover, all of this was only done to find a sensation. "I really don't understand the purpose of the slanderous perpetrator. Except reflecting people who are not moral and heinous. If you want to find a sensation, then think of another better way. Don't slander without evidence and in Islam this is a very big sin," said Faisal Saimima, in a written statement, Monday, August 29. This young Nahdlatul Ulama figure from Maluku added that he really supports the efforts made by Erick Thohir who is also a member of the Honorary GP Ansor to report to the police and demand Faizal's responsibility for the heinous slander committed. Faisal assessed that so far Erick's family life has been running harmoniously. Their financial ability is also extraordinary, so all slander about many wives and not paying a child's tuition money is very unreasonable. "Not to mention, judging by what has been done by the Erick Thohir family foundation in building many mosques at home and abroad, sertga helps the poor and orphans. So once again, the person whose slander must be prosecuted thoroughly, and investigated what motivation is," added Faisal. Therefore, he asked the Criminal Investigation Police to immediately follow up on this report. "The investigation of the perpetrators of slander must be completed.
