JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) recorded impressive growth in the wealth management business sector by incised an increase in asset under management (AUM) of 12 percent year on year (yoy) at the end of the first semester of 2022.

BRI's Director of Consumer Business, Handayani, said that the company's successful results could not be separated from the increase in the number of customers in the first half of around 24 percent.

"The increase in public interest in investment has led to growth in wealth management performance," he said in a written statement quoted on Friday, August 26.

According to Handayani, BRI also achieved significant growth in mutual fund investment of 28 percent with the number of new investors rising by 144 percent.

“Here we provide assistance to customers through experienced financial advisors. This is because our vision is to become the customer's first choice in entrusting all banking transactions. This role is as a financial supermarket in responding to various investment needs and customer protection," he said.

Handayani ensured that BRI provides integrated and one stop financial solution facilities to support the needs of individual and business customers, through various instruments, such as government bonds, corporate bonds, mutual funds, securities, bancassurance and pension fund management.
