JAKARTA - PT Kioson Komersial Indonesia Tbk (KIOS) is targeting a 20 percent increase in revenue by the end of 2022.

CEO Kioson Andrew said that one of the efforts made by the company to achieve this target was the release of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) application.

"We predict an increase in revenue of up to 20 percent with net profit targeted to reach 25 percent by the end of the year," Andrew said in a statement quoted by Antara, Thursday, August 25.

Andrew said that the WMS application has been integrated into all marketplaces, such as Tokopedia, Shopee, Blibli, and Lazada, as well as various third-party logistics, including J&T, JNE, Sicepat, AnterAja, and others.

He believes that the presence of the WMS application will make it easier for business actors to buy and sell online.

"The WMS KIOS application will make it easier for SMEs to transact online. Moreover, we are adding the sameday delivery feature with cheap postage because the KIOS warehouses are already scattered in many places," said Andrew.

The company has just launched a sameday delivery service that reaches 25 cities throughout Indonesia after collaborating with 350 small and medium business (SME) brands into its ecosystem.

Based on the company's 2021 consolidated financial statements, the company recorded a net profit of IDR 2.5 billion. In contrast to 2020, which experienced a loss of IDR 41.9 billion.

The company's gross profit also increased 124 percent to IDR 15.3 billion (yoy) compared to the same period in the previous year.

Founded in June 2015, Kioson was first introduced to the public by launching beta-testing on 300 tablets with the Kioson app.
