Pelindo Guarantees Bali Maritime Tourism Hub Project According To Rules

JAKARTA - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo guarantees the Bali Maritime Tourism Hub (MTH) project in accordance with applicable regulations and in accordance with local spatial planning and arrangements in support of the G20 High Level Conference (KTT) meeting which will take place on 15-24 16 November next.

Head of the Legal and Public Relations Department of Pelindo Regional III Karlinda Sari said, in an effort to develop BMTH in the existing port area, Pelindo has obtained a building permit or IMB from the Denpasar City Government through the PUPR Service.

"In the existing area of Benoa Port, we are carrying out the construction of BMTH supporting infrastructure such as MSME Mart and we have coordinated this with the local government so that it is in accordance with the regional spatial plan, besides that we have also obtained an IMB," said Karlinda, quoted from Antara, Friday, August 5th.

Karlina said that one of the efforts made by Pelindo's management was to manage and fulfill various administrative and licensing requirements for the development process in accordance with applicable regulations.

In addition, Pelindo is committed to upholding the principles of good corporate governance in accordance with Good Corporate Governance (GCG) to create stakeholder and public trust in the company.

Meanwhile, in terms of developing development areas 1 and 2, Pelindo has also coordinated, obtained permits and received support from several parties such as the Ministry of Transportation, State-Owned Enterprises, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning and Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. Fishery.

Pelindo also cooperates with local and national law enforcement officials, one of which is the Indonesian Attorney General's Office to assist and supervise the project work considering that the development of BMTH is one of the national strategic projects, which is also used to support G20 activities in Bali so that it must be jointly successful.

"For the management of land rights in development areas 1 and 2, we continue to coordinate with various related parties, where the rights to the land will be carried out by the Ministry of Transportation for Management Rights (HPL) to BPN first, which then Pelindo will apply for the rights to land rights. on the land above the Ministry of Transportation's HPL," said Karlinda.

Previously, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo carried out the development of Benoa Port into a BMTH by carrying the Butterfly Route concept.

In its development, Benoa Cruise Terminal at Benoa Harbor as the main part of BMTH is projected not only to become a cruise terminal hub or the largest cruise ship berth in Indonesia, but also the largest in Asia.

BMTH has even become a maritime tourism center equipped with Marina Yacht, Yacht Club, Theme Park, Sport Facility, and is equipped with various facilities that support industry and economic activities such as LNG Terminal, Liquid Cargo Storage, Wet Berth, Dry.
