The Subsidized Fuel Quota Breaks Because Rich People Enjoy It

JAKARTA - The application of the MyPertamina application when filling fuel oil (BBM) at gas stations by Pertamina aims to prevent the use of subsidized fuel from being inappropriate.

"In the distribution of subsidized fuel, namely diesel, and the assignment, namely pertalite, there were many facts that the distribution was not right on target," said Section Head of Communication Relations of Pertamina Patra Niaga Region Jatimbalinus, Arya Yusa Dwicandra, quoted from Antara, Thursday, August 4.

He admitted that until now there are still wealthy people who participate in consuming subsidized fuel so that it will burden and affect the quota that Pertamina Patra Niaga has to comply with as the assigned business entity.

His party invites people who have vehicles to continue to register vehicles in the application to suppress the misuse of subsidized fuel.

Arya added that this targeted subsidy is important, considering that the government itself has contributed greatly in allocating funds of up to IDR 520 trillion for energy subsidies in 2022.

In ensuring that energy subsidies can be channeled on target, Pertamina Patra Niaga is waiting for the revision of Presidential Regulation no. 191/2014 regarding the provision of subsidies and the Decree (SK) of the Head of BPH Migas No. 04/P3JBT/BPH Migas/KOM/2020.

"Things related to user segmentation, quotas and regulations related to other distributions will be contained in these regulations which will be implemented in due course," he added.

He also emphasized that Pertamina Patra Niaga as the one assigned also took the initiative to ensure that distribution in this field could run more on target by starting a trial registration.

The registration process to get subsidized fuel. Registration can be done through the MyPertamina application, subsiditepat.mypertamina.id website and register directly at the designated gas station.

MyPertamina was chosen in accordance with BPH Migas Regulation No. 06/2013 and the use of IT technology systems in the distribution of fuel can be done.

Starting July 1 yesterday, a trial registration has been carried out through the MyPertamina website, namely subsiditepat.mypertamina.id

At this stage, registration focuses on matching data between those registered by the community with documents and vehicle data owned.

After the status is registered, the public will get a unique QR Code which will be received via email or notification at https://subsiditepat.mypertamina.id.

For the convenience of the public, the QR Code can be printed and taken to the gas station, so it is not mandatory to download the MyPertamina application or bring a mobile phone to the gas station. This mechanism is still specialized (cars) and not yet for two-wheeled vehicles.

"During this registration and transition period, people can still buy Pertalite and Solar without using the QR Code, but we still encourage people to register their vehicles and identity," said Arya.

Arya ensures that the registration through the website is not to make it difficult for the community but to protect vulnerable people who actually have the right to enjoy energy subsidies.

"In the future, we hope that this data can be used to determine energy policies with the government and can prevent the potential for misuse or cases of misuse of subsidized fuel in the field," added Arya.
