JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga added a stock of 3 kilograms (Kg) of LPG for the City of Solo, Central Java, as many as 14,600 cylinders.
The addition of facultative or extra dropping subsidized liquefied gas is to ensure the availability of supplies in Solo during the period from July 25 to August 6, 2022.

"This amount is a facultative addition beyond the regular distribution which is distributed as many as 5,100 tubes in the period 25-30 July 2022 and the period 1-6 August 2022 as many as 9,500 tubes," said Brasto in an official statement quoted on Monday, August 1.
Brasto revealed, the addition of facultatives was carried out in connection with the increasing consumption of LPG since the moment of Eid al-Adha in 2022.

He revealed that Pertamina's efforts to ensure that the 3 Kg LPG is distributed on target are by periodically conducting monitoring with the Trade Service (Disdag), to the National Oil and Gas Entrepreneurs Association (Hiswana Migas) Surakarta City by visiting 2 LPG bases, 5 stalls, and 2 grocery stores in Jebres and Banjarsari sub-districts to ensure 3 Kg LPG is distributed to eligible communities.
"We are fully committed to distribution in accordance with the quotas and regulations set by the government. We must maintain this quota by coordinating and involving the local government and the police in distribution.
