Wilmar, Sania And Fortune Cooking Oil Producers Owned By Conglomerate Martua Sitorus Raise 137 Percent Profit Increase To Idr180.93 Billion In Semester I 2022

JAKARTA - The producer of cooking oil owned by the conglomerate Martua Sitorus, PT Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia Tbk (CEKA) recorded a profit for the year of IDR 180.93 billion in the first half of 2022. This achievement was up 137 percent from the same period the previous year of IDR 76.15 billion.

In Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia's financial report, quoted Monday, August 1, in line with the growth in profit as of the end of June, the company's net sales also recorded an increase of 57.78 percent to IDR 3.64 trillion from the previous IDR 2.30 trillion.

The company's domestic sales are still the largest contributor to the company's revenue by contributing IDR 3.52 trillion, up 60.68 percent from IDR 2.19 trillion. Meanwhile, the company's export sales were recorded at IDR 119.27 billion, up 2.95 percent from IDR 115.85 billion.

Based on the product, sales of crude palm oil (CPO) were recorded at IDR 1.73 trillion. Then, sales of palm kernel oil products amounted to IDR 1.45 trillion, other products amounted to IDR 452.98 billion.

On the other hand, the company's cost of goods sold also increased by 54.33 percent to IDR 3.33 trillion from the previous IDR 2.15 trillion. Meanwhile, the company's operating expenses also increased by 36.05 percent from the previous IDR 59.27 billion to IDR 79.29 billion.

During the first semester of 2022, the company's total asset value rose 15.36 percent to IDR 1.95 trillion from the previous IDR 1.69 trillion. Meanwhile, the company's liabilities were recorded at IDR 389.84 billion and the company's equity of IDR 1.56 trillion.

Meanwhile, this year the company plans to increase its business activities in the sales of wheat flour and rice. The additional business activities will be carried out in collaboration with the company's business entities, namely PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia (PT WINA) and PT Wilmar Padi Indonesia (PT WPI).
