JAKARTA – PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk. (BNI) is said to have just inaugurated the first work hub with the concept of a co-working space in Bekasi, West Java.

BNI's Director of Services and Networks, Ronny Venir, said that this facility allows employees to implement a working model from anywhere, also known as hybrid working.

"Through this work hub, the need to work more flexibly will be fulfilled, so it is hoped that it can become a momentum to encourage millennial performance amid the accelerated trend of economic recovery," he said in a press statement on Tuesday, July 26.

According to Ronny, the company's internal research shows that employees at the head office specifically state that the WFO and WFH policies strongly support work-life balance.

Therefore, BNI seeks to proactively respond to these needs in order to facilitate needs in order to encourage employee productivity.

“I'm sure the staff are very excited to try this place. It is a real new way of working. Of course, we will not stop here, but also expand this program throughout Indonesia," he said.

Ronny added that the new facility was designed with a timeless character that aims to eliminate boredom in the midst of increasing work demands.

In addition, he mentioned that in order to increase awareness of the use of public transportation, this co-working space is designed to not have a parking lot.

“However, if employees bring bicycles, we have provided a special bicycle parking space. In addition, employees are also expected to bring their own cutlery and worship utensils and are not allowed to leave any items at the work hub," he said.
