PTPP Enlivens The People's Market With PMN And The Ministry Of SOEs

JAKARTA - State-Owned Enterprises in the construction field, PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), together with PT PMN (Persero) and the Ministry of SOEs held a people's market activity located at the Pancasila Stadium, Demak, Central Java on Friday, July 22.

This people's market activity was also attended by Special Staff III of the Minister of SOEs of the Republic of Indonesia Arya Sinulingga, Regent of Demak Eisti'anah, Deputy Regent of Demak Ali Makhsun, Technical Director of PT PP Semarang Demak Yusuf Maharani, and the PTPP TJSL Team.

In the people's market activity, PTPP together with PMN supported the low-cost market and MSME bazaar which were held in Demak Regency. The event was enlivened by 50 MSMEs assisted by BUMN companies consisting of various business fields including food, beverages, batik, fashion, craft, and so on.

The MSME owners were also given the opportunity to have direct dialogue with the Special Staff III of the RI Minister of SOEs, Arya Sinulingga, to discuss MSME programs.

Meanwhile, the people's market activity organized by PTPP together with PMN also sold 4,000 cheap basic food packages containing premium rice, granulated sugar, cooking oil, sardines, instant noodles, and so on. The package is sold by BUMN at a price of IDR 65,000 per package.

"The holding of the people's market activity in Demak Regency which consists of a cheap market and a UMKM bazaar is a form of PTPP's contribution with PMN as a state-owned company to support one of the Government's programs in the process of national economic recovery in passing the COVID-19 pandemic that has occurred since early 2020. We hope that through the activities held in the midst of this pandemic, we can help move the economy of the community and MSMEs around Demak," said PTPP Corporate Secretary, Bakhtiyar Efendi, in his statement, quoted Tuesday, July 26.
