JAKARTA - PT Bank Digital BCA continues to develop features on the blu application. The development will focus on improving the quality of services that accommodate customer needs.

One of the new features that will be launched at the end of this year is loan services. President Director of BCA Digital, Lanny Budiati said the new feature in the form of direct loan services will target consumer credit.

"Direct lending will be released at the end of this year. Pray for it. It will be more for consumer credit," said the President Director of BCA Digital, Lanny Budiati, at a press conference, in Jakarta, Friday, July 22.

Lanny explained, this direct loan feature will also target various segments. However, BCA Digital will first launch a pilot project to see customer responses from various segments.

"Of course we will enter from various segments. We will try, if this segment will respond, what will the response be. Through the pilot (project), this is like the style of our parent (Bank BCA), if you enter something, you don't go right away. How to test first until you find a good formula and then it is scalable," he explained.

However, the loan interest has not been disclosed at this time. But in the future, BCA hopes to keep non-performing loans (NPLs) low. "We can't announce the interest rate yet," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Digital Business PT Bank Digital BCA Edwin Tirta hopes that with this direct loan, blu can help customers who need funds suddenly.

"For this direct lending, maybe we will be a little more aggressive. Why? Yes, we need to test. But maybe the scale is not too big first, maybe we will divide the scale, we again need to be careful banks," said Edwin.

For your information, during one year of operation, blu by BCA Digital users were recorded at around 806 thousand more as of July 15. These customers are active in conducting various kinds of financial transactions with a total transaction value of IDR 36 trillion.
