Enlivening ARCH:ID Opened By PUPR Minister Basuki, PT Jakarta Konsultindo Presents Stories Behind National Strategic Projects

JAKARTA - Indonesia Architecture Conference & Exhibition ARCH:ID is an annual architectural conference & exhibition initiated by the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI) and PT Citra Innovation Strategies Exhibition (CIS), functioning as a venue for continuous dialogue between architects, industry players in building and construction materials in Indonesia.

Entering its 2nd year of implementation, ARCH:ID opens and presents more diverse architectural aspects from provinces, cities to villages, by combining all aspects of this nation's life.

Taking place for four days (14 - 17) July 2022, ARCH:ID will be held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang. The exhibition was opened by Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono and accompanied by Chairman of the Indonesian Architects Association (IAI) Gregorius Budi Yulianto and Chair of ARCH:ID Theresia W Purnomo.

In his remarks, Basuki thanked IAI and all parties who have collaborated with the Ministry of PUPR in the development of national infrastructure so far.

"I am aware that the science of architecture covers everything: the function of the building, the structure of the building, its aesthetics and art. That's where the differences arise," said Basuki in his speech.

ARCH:ID carries the theme Sebentang, Serentang, Segendang as a reflection of the diversity of architectural practices and products in Indonesia. Sebentang is considered as a picture of something broad from Indonesia. Serentang means something that is closer or has a more intimate distance. While Segendang is something that is defined as harmony.

PT Jakarta Konsultindo as a provider of construction consulting services presents various views of prestigious projects that have been, are being, and will be worked on. Even in the last three days, PT Jakarta Konsultindo held a mini talk show at its booth, inviting the Project Manager as the resource person. The topics discussed included: the restoration of the AA Maramis cultural heritage building at the Ministry of Finance, participatory planning in Kampung Susun Bayam, and various unique stories behind the construction of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).

"The presence of PT Jakarta Konsultindo at the ARCH: ID 2022 event is one way to enliven the event and introduce the company more, inform products and services, explore business opportunities and collaborate with other potential strategic partners to support development projects in Indonesia," Hani Sumarno said as Director of PT Jakarta Konsultindo in her official statement, Tuesday, July 19.

"This is also one of our passions to always collaborate with various parties, to accelerate internally, and to elevate the company to a higher level," she concluded.
