Late Eka Tjipta Widjaja's Son Spends Billion Of Rupiah To Buy Bumi Serpong Damai's Share

JAKARTA - The President Commissioner and PT Paraga Arta Mida as controller of PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) have recorded another purchase of shares in the property company owned by conglomerate Eka Tjipta Widjaja with a transaction value of IDR 13.39 billion.

In an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, quoted on Monday, July 11, BSDE President Commissioner Muktar Widjaja purchased 1,104,800 shares with an average purchase price of IDR 905 per share.

Thus, the funds raised by the son of the late Eka Tjipta Widjaja reached IDR 999.84 million. The transaction made in the context of the investment took place on July 7, 2022.

Previously, Muktar was also recorded to have purchased 5,014,500 BSDE shares with an average purchase value of IDR 899.99 per share, so the funds spent for the transaction reached IDR 4.51 billion.

Shares The purchase for this investment will take place on June 14–22, 2022. After this transaction, Muktar's total share ownership in BSDE became 106,210,500 shares, from the previous 105,105,700 shares.

In addition to the purchase by Muktar Widjaja as president commissioner, PT Paraga Arta Mida was also recorded to have purchased company shares again. Hermawan bought 13,568,600 shares in the period 27-30 June 2022 with an average purchase price of IDR 913.20 per share.

With the purchase price, the funds spent by Paraga reached IDR 12.39 billion. The purchase for this investment made Hermawan's total shareholding in BSDE increase to 7,145,465,764 shares from the previous 7,131,897,164 shares.

For information, PT Paraga Arta Mida holds 33.2 percent of BSDE's shares and PT Ekacentra Usahamaju with 25.6 percent. Both act as stock controllers. The remaining 39.87 percent are held by the public and treasury shares are 1.22 percent.
