Competing With Bankors In Asia, BRI President Director Sunarso Won The Banker Of The Year Award In Singapore

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) or BRI Sunarso, won an international award as the Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Banker of the year from The Asset Triple A. In BRI's press release it was stated that the award was awarded in a ceremony in Singapore earlier this week.

"The achievements received cannot be separated from the company's strategy to continue to take advantage of digital channels in improving performance," he said on Thursday, July 7.

According to him, the awards won are part of the contribution of workers who have made the best contribution to the community and Indonesia.

"I dedicate this award to all BRI MSME customers who are the backbone of the nation's economy," he said.

In addition to winning individual awards, the bank with the stock code BBRI also managed to steal the title as Best in Treasury and Working Capital SME.

"This is proof that BRI is intended to be assessed and assessed by various independent external parties, bonafit and credible," said Sunarso.

The Asset itself is a research institute and business news publisher about the Asian financial industry that has been established since 1999 and is based in Hong Kong. This international entity publishes important news, analysis, and insight aimed at the company's leadership community and financial decision-making independently.

In addition to Sunarso and BRI, awards were also given to Lay Hua So (Managing Director of Banking UOB), Chintan Shah (Deutsche Bank Asia Pacific), Makoto Hasegawa (BNP Paribas Japan). Then, Yvonne Yiu (HSBC) and Erin Huang (Deutsche Bank China).
