Absorbing Funds From The Taxpayer Voluntary Disclosure Program, Government Releases Two Series Of Debt Instruments Of Rp659.92 Billion And US Dollars 5.86 Million

JAKARTA - The government continues to release investment instruments to absorb the proceeds from the tax amnesty program. This time, the investment instruments are government bonds (SUN) series FR0094 and USDFR0003.

Citing a statement from the Directorate of Government Securities at the Ministry of Finance, Wednesday, June 29, the two series of SUNs were valued at Rp659.92 billion and US$5.86 million. "The transaction was carried out on June 24," wrote the SUN Directorate.

In detail, FR0094 offers a coupon of 5.6 percent with a yield of 6.95 percent. Meanwhile, the USDFR0003 series offers a coupon of 3 percent with a yield of 4.75 percent.

Meanwhile, FR0094 will mature on January 15, 2028 and USDFR0003 on January 15, 2032.

For information, the tax amnesty facility will end today (Thursday, June 30). As for Monday, June 20, PPS has succeeded in attracting 99,278 taxpayers (WP) to participate. From that number, 119,365 certificates were found.

Meanwhile, the value of assets disclosed by the taxpayers reached Rp222.91 trillion. This figure consists of domestic declarations and repatriation funds of Rp. 197.71 trillion, foreign declarations of Rp. 17.84 trillion, and Rp. 11.35 trillion for government investment instruments.

On the other hand, state revenues in the form of income tax (PPh) amounted to Rp22.22 trillion.
