Biggest Dividend Deposit, BRI Boss Opens Voice About Profits For All SOEs

JAKARTA – President Director of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. (BRI) Sunarso also opened his voice over the achievements of the Ministry of SOEs which were able to encourage state companies to record 869 percent profit growth year on year (yoy) to Rp126 trillion throughout 2021.

According to him, the nick is inseparable from the transformation efforts that the government continues to focus on.

"Last year's SOE revenue reached Rp1,983 trillion, which is equivalent to 99 percent of the revenue from the APBN. Of course, this is the result of focused and thorough work, so that the planned strategy can be executed properly," he said in a press statement on Tuesday, June 14.

Sunarso added that the implementation of the core value of AKHLAK is considered to have a positive impact. This is because performance capabilities are becoming increasingly developed in forming sustainable business activities.

"One of the concrete evidences is the success of the establishment of the Ultra Micro Ecosystem Holding in the midst of a pandemic, where BRI is the parent of the formation of the holding," he said.

Furthermore, the BRI boss revealed that the Ultra Micro Holding which was formed on September 13, 2021 is a unification of the ecosystem between BRI, Pegadaian and PNM with the aim of producing micro and ultramicro empowerment institutions.

"This is the largest and has the most complete ecosystem in the world," he said.

Just so you know, the financial services institution codenamed BBRI was recorded as depositing a dividend of Rp. 14.04 trillion to the state treasury for its good performance in 2021.

This figure is the highest compared to other State-Owned Enterprises.

Meanwhile, BBRI's book was obtained based on the company's profit last year which amounted to Rp. 32.22 trillion, equivalent to 25.5 percent of the total profit of all SOEs in the same period.

"Through the implementation of good Good Corporate Governance (GCG), the BRI Group will continue to work in the MSME segment, especially micro and then in efficient ways, and the value created must return to the micro and it will become a bigger snowball so that the greater the value creation for all stakeholders," concluded the President Director of BRI Sunarso.
