JAKARTA - In order to encourage the achievements of weightlifting athletes in Central Java (Central Java), Magnus, a premium fitness equipment brand from Indonesia under the auspices of Gym Fitness Indo, donated a number of fitness equipment. This is a continuation of the previous program, where Magnus gave his support to the weightlifting athletes in West Java (Jabar).

The fitness equipment that Magnus donated to weightlifting athletes in Central Java included three sets of Magnus WOD Barbells of the Red and White type & 3 sets of Bumper Plates of the Batik type. Magnus channeled this donation through the Central Java Kabaddi Sports Federation (FOKSI).

The handover of this assistance was carried out in the room of the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI), Central Java, Tuesday (24/5). Hans Krisna, owner of Magnus and Gym Fitness Indo directly handed over the assistance of the fitness equipment which was received by Prof. Dr. Sugiharto, MS., AIFO, General Chairperson of the Central Java FOKSI Management.

This event was attended, among others, by Bona Ventura Sulistiana, SH, MH, General Chair of KONI Central Java, Giri Dahono, Head of Resource Mobilization of Koni Central Java, Aria Candra Destianto, KADISPORAPOR Head of Sports Division, Rubianto Hadi, one of the Kabaddi coaches, and athletes. Hans said Magnus would continue this program to support the achievements of local weightlifters.

"Magnus will provide similar support to athletes from other regions, but we cannot provide details at this time," he said in a written statement, Thursday, June 2.

According to Hans, the donation of fitness equipment is a tangible manifestation of Magnus' commitment to participate in advancing weightlifting in Central Java. Through this synergy, Hans hopes that weightlifting athletes can continue to excel both at national and international levels.

"Magnus supports that national athletes in the field of weightlifting can achieve even better," he said.

Hans added that weightlifting is not as popular as other sports. He hopes that the support provided by Magnus can help improve the achievements of Central Java weightlifters.

"If I may tell you a little bit, I used to really like sports. I could exercise once or twice a day and the sport I was engaged in was weight lifting," explained Hans at the Caring for Sports Achievement event.

Hans also talked about the lack of sports facilities in several gyms when he was in college.

"And that's what increases my enthusiasm to help weightlifting athletes in Indonesia to be more enthusiastic about weightlifting," he explained.
