One Director Of Unilever Indonesia, A Producer Of Lifebouy, Pepsodent And Walls Ice Cream, Resigns, Why?

JAKARTA - One of the directors of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) announced his resignation. This announcement comes ahead of the Unilever Indonesia Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) which will take place on 15 June 2022.

The director who announced his resignation was Director of Customer Development Badri Narayanan. In the disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), quoted on Wednesday 18 May, Badri Narayanan's resignation effective as of June 15, 2022 in connection with his appointment to a new position at the Company's affiliated companies overseas.

"There is no significant impact on the operational, legal, financial condition or business continuity of the Company," wrote Director and Corporate Secretary of Unilever Indonesia Reski Damayanti.

The resignation will be approved by the Company's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders which will be held on 15 June 2022. Badri Narayanan himself is an Indian citizen who was appointed as Director of Unilever Indonesia by the GMS on 24 July 2020.

Badri has been with Unilever since 2000 as an Area Sales and Customer. Over the past 20 years, he has held several senior positions including Area Sales and Customer, Regional Brands, CD Excellent and Operations, Director of Regional Customer Development, both at local, regional and global levels.

Badri's last two positions were Global Vice President based in India and Global Vice President, B2B eCommerce and Route to Market based in India.
