Sido Appears To Distribute Rp200 Million In Compensation For 1,000 Orphans In South Jakarta

JAKARTA - As a form of concern for others, PT Industri Jamu and Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (Sido Muncul) shares love with 1,000 orphans in the South Jakarta area.

Located in the courtyard of the Sido Muncul office, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 13, the assistance in the form of cash worth Rp. 200 million will be symbolically handed over by the Director of PT Industri Jamu Dan Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk, Irwan Hidayat to several representatives of the orphanage present.

Sharing love with orphans and needy children has been routinely done by Sido Muncul since several years ago. However, due to the pandemic situation in recent years, the relief event was carried out virtually.

In this month of Ramadan, apart from sharing love with 1,000 orphans in Jakarta, Sido Muncul will also provide assistance to the needy in Semarang and several Islamic boarding schools in the coming week.

This time Sido Muncul will provide assistance to orphans and needy children whose existence is in the Cipete area and its surroundings, namely PA Mizan Cipete, PA Mizan Cilandak, PA Mizan Pasar Minggu, PA Mizan Karang Tengah, Mizan Amanah KKO Cilandak, Al Khairiyah, Al Ittihadiyah , Yasni Orphanage, Kemang Orphanage, Karang Tengah Orphanage, Wallet Orphans and Duafa Cilandak PA, Nurul Hasanah PA, Al-Andalusia Foundation, Daarul Aitam PA, Yos Sudarso PA, At Taufik Taklim Council, Al Muawwanah Taklim Council, PA Orphans Muslim Nusantara Foundation orphans, PA Annajah, orphans in the H. Saidi and Cipete areas, and Al Ikhlas foster children. The assistance will be given directly to the orphanage representatives present.

The Director of Sido Muncul, Irwan Hidayat, thanked the management for helping his party distribute the aid to younger siblings from the orphanage.

"We hope that this assistance will be meaningful for the orphans so that they can celebrate Eid with joy. That way, younger siblings can feel that God loves them through each other," said Irwan in his statement, quoted on Tuesday, April 19.

Apart from the company, the funds disbursed also came from the initiative of Sido Muncul employees in Jakarta, amounting to Rp. 10 million. Irwan Hidayat also appreciated all Sido Muncul employees who had taken the initiative to provide assistance to others.

"We are grateful to have employees whose hearts are sensitive to others, so that we can provide assistance to orphans, poor people, and Islamic boarding schools during the holy month of Ramadan this time," said Irwan.
