Supporting Enlivening The Mandalika MotoGP, Ministry Of Transportation Encourages People To Use KM Kelud Accommodation

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate General of Sea Transportation invites the audience of the Mandalika MotoGP to take advantage of the floating accommodation facility with the KM Kelud Ship until March 21, 2022.

This floating accommodation is an assignment given by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation to PT PELNI (Persero).

The floating accommodation by ship KM. Kelud is a form of accommodation support during the 2022 MotoGP event at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, which is located in a super-priority tourist attraction, Mandalika, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

The Acting Director-General of Sea Transportation, Capt Mugen Sartoto, said that the Mandalika MotoGP audience can take advantage of this floating accommodation for free.

"For MotoGP viewers who watch MotoGP on March 20, they have difficulty getting a place to stay because they haven't got a return ticket or want to continue traveling in NTB, can take advantage of this floating accommodation", said Capt Mugen.

Floating accommodation, according to him, can be a solution because apart from being free, it is also equipped with adequate facilities and of course, will get a different experience when compared to staying in a hotel room.

"We want to help people who really need accommodation and want to rest before returning to their place of origin, especially for the spectators who haven't got a return ticket so they don't get stranded because considering the occupancy of lodging in Mandalika is also high", said Capt Mugen.
