JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) through the Directorate General of Railways continues to strive so that the connectivity of the Jakarta Bandung Fast Train (KCJB) can be integrated with a number of other modes of transportation and mass transportation.

"The Ministry of Transportation has made efforts to support the connectivity of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train through mode integration," said Director General of Railways Zulfikri at a hearing with Commission V of the DPR RI in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Monday, February 7.

Zulfikri explained that efforts to integrate between modes at the KCJB station, one of which is at Halim Station, will be integrated with the Jabodebek and Transjakarta LRT.

The integration facility between Halim Station and Jabodebek LRT Station will be connected through a skybridge building.

Furthermore, integration support is also prepared at KCJB Padalarang Station with train services in the Greater Bandung area. Where at that location there will be an integration facility that will connect the two.

"The realization of this integration is the result of real work on the coordination and synergy of all stakeholders," he said.

Zulfikri added that the 142 kilometer KCJB construction project will pass through four stations, namely Halim Station, Karawang Station, Padalarang Station, and Tegalluar Station. The physical progress until January 2022 reached 79.9 percent.
