PTDI Board Of Directors Reshuffles, Erick Thohir Appoints Gita Amperiawan As President Director

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir has reshuffled the directors of PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI). Erick decided to remove Elfien Goentoro from the position of President Director of PTDI and appointed Gita Amperiawan as his replacement.

The replacement was decided at the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) of the Company (Persero) PT Dirgantara Indonesia, Thursday, January 27, 2021.

The GMS was held online led by the Assistant Deputy for Manufacturing Industry of the Ministry of SOEs, Liliek Mayasari and the Assistant Deputy for Human Resources Management of the Ministry of SOEs, Andus Winarno, which was attended by the Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners of PTDI.

The replacement of the main director position is based on the Decree of the Minister of BUMN through the Decree of the Minister of BUMN as the GMS of the Company (Persero) PT Dirgantara Indonesia Number: SK-34/MBU/01/2022.

The SOE Minister's Decree stated that he honorably dismissed Elfien Goentoro as President Director of PTDI, and dismissed Gita Amperiawan as Director of Commerce, Technology & Development of PTDI and was appointed as President Director of PTDI.

Adi also congratulated on the inauguration of Gita Amperiawan as President Director of PTDI.

For your information, Elfien Goentoro himself was appointed as President Director of PTDI since 2017 or when Rini Soemarno served as Minister of BUMN. However, since last September 2021, Erick Thohir has again entrusted Elfien to lead PTDI.

However, not even 5 months later, Elfien has served since he was re-appointed as President Director of PTDI, he has been replaced by SOE Minister Erick Thohir.

Until now, there has been no official explanation as to why the Ministry of SOEs has returned to replace the position of President Director of PTDI.
