Dandim Cup Super Grasstrap Motocross: A Seru 108 Crosser Battle From All Over Indonesia

TEMANGGUNG - The Carang Hanga Kaloran Circuit witnessed the toughness of 108 crossers from various regions in Indonesia who competed in the Super Grasstrap Motocross Dandim Cup. The event, which was held for the first time in Kaloran, is expected to produce superior seeds for motocross athletes who are able to compete at the national and international levels.

The Temanggung Regent, Hary Agung Prabowo, said that this motocross championship is a positive step in finding superior potential in the field of motorcross sports. The crossers, not only from Temanggung, but also from Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Sumatra and several areas on the island of Java. They also compete in various classes, including modif open ducks, FFA open, sports trail open, to women's special classes.

Hary Agung Prabowo expressed his extraordinary appreciation for the success of this event and plans to hold a similar championship at least twice a year ahead. Dandim 0706/Temanggung Lt. Col. Inf. Sriyono added that although it was the first time it was held, the enthusiasm that was created was extraordinary. The participation of national racers adds to the prestige of this event.

"This is extraordinary, not only followed by local racers, but also from Sulawesi, Aceh, East Java. This event can be considered a national level, and I consider it a success," said Lt. Col. Inf. Sriyono, quoted by Antara. However, he also revealed plans for the evaluation of tracks in the future, including the possibility of increasing the length of the track to meet national national vocational standards.

The track in Carang hangs does not only require speed, but also skills in overcoming sharp bends, inclines, and derivatives. The terrain is steep and slippery due to rain, increasingly challenging crossers to maintain balance.
