Persikabo 1973 Wins First Win Under Coach Aji Santoso

JAKARTA - Persikabo 1973 made its first victory under coach Aji Santoso after defeating Rans Nusantara FC with a score of 2-1 at Wibawa Mukti Stadium, Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, Saturday, November 4.

As reported by Antara, Aji Santoso won the victory after undergoing nine matches with his new club without full points, according to the Indonesian League records.

Persikabo's 1973 victory in that match came thanks to goals scored by AJian Aleman and Manahati Lestusen, while Rans Nusantara FC had already won through Tavinho.

Celebrating his first win of the season, Persikabo 1973 is still stuck in 17th position in the Indonesian League 1 standings with 14 points from 18 matches, while Rans Nusantara FC is in sixth position with 30 points.

Statistically Persikabo 1973 dominated the match road by recording 62 percent possession and releasing a total of 15 kicks, three of which were on target.

They had a golden opportunity first through Yandi Sofyan Munawar's kick which still hit the Rans goal post.

Persikabo turned things into 2-1 in the 81st minute through a goal scored by Manahati Lestusen using Dimas Drajad's bait.

In the remaining time Persikabo's match tried to maintain the advantage, while Rans tried to find a equalizer, but until the match ended with a score of 2-1 for the home team's victory remained.

Furthermore, in the 19th week of Liga 1 Indonesia, Persikabo 1973 will travel to Persija Jakarta headquarters, Thursday (9/11), while Rans Nusantara FC will host Bhayangkara FC, on the same day.
