Australian MotoGP 2023: Zarco Champion, Bagnaia Widens Distance With Jorge Martin

JAKARTA - Pramac Ducati's Johann Zarco won the Australian MotoGP 2023 race which was dramatic.

The French racer became the fastest with a time of 40 minutes 39.446 seconds. He was 0.201 seconds ahead of Bagnaia who was in second place.

Meanwhile, Gresini Racing racer Fabio Di Giannantonio made another surprise. He occupies the third podium with a difference of 0.477 seconds from the winner.

Meanwhile, the competitor to the world title, Jorge Martin, who started the race from pole position, had to settle for finishing fourth. The Spaniard was 1,008 seconds adrift of his teammate.

The top 10 positions include Marco Bezzecchi (6), Jack Miller (7), Aleix Espargaro (8), Alex Marquez (9) and Enea Bastianini (10).

The results of the main Australian MotoGP race made Bagnaia now widen her distance from Jorge Martin.

Bagnaia leads the standings with 366 points. He is 27 points ahead of the closest rival. Meanwhile, Bezzecchi occupies third place with 293 points.
