OnePrix 2023 Criticized For Held At The Sentul Karting Circuit Again, But Organizers And Drivers Ready To Give The Best

JAKARTA - The fourth round of OnePrix 2023 will be held on September 16 and 17, 2023. The riders will compete at the Sentul Karting Circuit.

The race that re-rolled in Sentul caused fans to be disappointed. The reason is, they see the race become monotonous because it is repeatedly held in the same place.

The CEO of PT OMM, Arlan Perkasa Lukman, admitted that he understood the disappointment of fans. However, he stated that there were several factors that were the reason.

"We consider this wave of disappointment as a form of concern from national racing personnel, especially motorcycle ducks and are very grateful for the attention given," Arlan said in an official written statement.

"Actually, there are a number of factors behind why the Sentul Karting Circuit was re-elected as the venue. First, the readiness of circuit infrastructure in other places related to broadcasting standards. So, we are not free to hold competitions in a number of places in one season," he continued.

However, the excitement outside the track did not interfere with the preparations of the riders for the fourth series. They even admitted that they could not wait to try out Sentul Karting Circuit for the second time holding the OnePrix race this season.

"For this four round from yesterday's training session, we just need to sharpen the finishing because it is also the evaluation of the first round. Then because there is a difference in the number of laps compared to now, we are doing research again to be able to compete in 30 laps," said the leader of the Expert class standings, Hafid Pratama.

Meanwhile, Chandra Hermawan, who is the leader of the Novice class standings, has been wary of one of his toughest opponents this season. However, he admitted that he had to keep his focus on racing for the best results.

"The competition in the Novice class is almost evenly distributed, everything is tough. But the most threatening thing is that my position in the standings is Abud. But the toughest opponent remains alone because sometimes it is too passionate," he said.
