Not Arrogant, Son Heung-min Apparently Can't Selfie Just With Fans

JAKARTA South Korean national team player Son Heung-min apparently cannot arbitrarily accept selfie requests with fans. There are strict rules that he must maintain if he does not want to lose his contract.

Son has been known as a friendly player who is willing to serve selfie requests from fans. However, the rules in his collaboration with Samsung's cellphone brand prevented him from being creative.

Regarding the regulation, it was recently revealed after he wanted to be asked for a selfie of a female fan. The request from the fan was rejected by the 31-year-old player.

In the video clip published by SportBible, Son seemed to reject the invitation. The player does not want to take photos together, but because the cellphone the fan is holding is a manufacturer from the United States, the iPhone.

As is known, Steve Jobs' cellphone is a tough rival from Samsung. These two most famous brands have always competed fiercely in the global market.

Son was then seen explaining that he wanted to take pictures as long as his cellphone in the fan held his own cellphone. Both of them finally took a selfie before Son took a picture of the two of them using his Samsung.

Son is currently on international duty with South Korea. He played 90 minutes in a friendly against Wales which ended 0-0 at Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday midweek.

The former Bayer Leverkusen star will travel to Newcastle St James' Park to face Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. It was in the midst of preparations for this match that he met the fan.

Son was appointed Samsung Galaxy brand ambassador last July. "This cooperation association makes Son unable to arbitrarily hold other brand phones if he wants to maintain good relations with sponsors," he added.
