JAKARTA The Honda factory rider, Marc Marquez again failed to finish in the 2023 MotoGP racing series. This time the Spaniard, who won six MotoGPs, fell at the Silverstone Circuit, at the British GP on Sunday 6 August.

Marquez fell after colliding with Enea Bastianini when the race only left five laps. Bastianini was able to continue the race, but that didn't happen to Marquez. The British GP is the 9th series of the 20 scheduled series.

Marquez himself has been busy struggling with injuries so far this season, and he has not targeted a win for a single series. Marquez concentrates more on developing Honda motorcycles in the 2024 season race.

Honda is indeed left behind in terms of technology compared to competing motorbikes from Europe. No wonder the Japanese MotoGP team struggled, even though it was strengthened by two world champion riders, namely Marquez and Joan Mir.

This time, the British MotoGP racing series was won by Aprilia team rider Aleix Espargaro. Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati followed in second place, while the third podium was occupied by KTM team rider Brad Binder.
