Having An Experience When He Was President Of Inter Milan, Erick Thohir Ensures The Argentine National Team Gets The Best Service

JAKARTA - The Argentine national team arrived in Indonesia on Friday, June 16 evening WIB. The presence of Lionel Scaloni's troops was greeted by the Chairman of PSSI, Erick Thohir.

Erick Thohir's presence is to ensure Argentina gets good service. According to him, this is something that must be given to every visitors, such as Argentina, who will undergo the FIFA matchday match against Indonesia.

The reason is, Erick had his own experience when he was still President of Inter Milan. He felt a high standard of service.

"I also experienced when Inter went on foreign tours to America, China and Singapore to apply service standards. This is what I want to apply in PSSI," said Erick.

"That's why last night I controlled the arrival of the Argentine national team. Don't be the chairman of PSSI, just sit in front of me, but you have to go to the field too," he continued, as quoted by Antara.

One of the efforts to provide good service, according to the Minister of SOEs, was the first treatment when the Argentine team arrived in Indonesia.

"I am confident that the service is very good. If you wait for a passport in China yesterday for hours, here (Indonesia) is only 35 minutes. That's part of the service, if you want a big team to come, we have to provide services," said Erick.

The Argentine national team will undergo a FIFA matchday against Indonesia on June 19. The group came to Indonesia without the leadership of captain Lionel Messi who was given a holiday time by Albiceleste coach Lionel Scaloni.

Asked about whether he had spoken with the Argentine national team players, Erick Thohir revealed that he had not spoken with them because upon arrival in Indonesia the Tango squad had to rest.

"They were tired when they arrived, today they are still at the hotel. I didn't take part in the activity. They might have breakfast, fitness, they will practice here in the afternoon (Bung Karno Stadium)," said Erick Thohir.
