Mahrez Becomes Man City's First Player To Score A Hattrick At Wembley

Riyad Mahrez became the first Manchester City player to score a hat trick when his team won 3-0 over Sheffield United in the 2022/2023 FA Cup semifinals at Wembley Stadium. Mahrez scored the first goal in the 43rd minute, the second goal in the 61st minute, and the third goal in the 66th minute. The achievement of the Algerian national team player when he scored a hat-trick against Sheffield made coach Pep Guardiola proud. The Spaniard called Mahrez a footballer who has high mentality and quality. “He is a high-class player, major mentality, competitor,” said Guardiola, quoted from the club's official website. “ It's great to be in the final.
