3 Shin Tae-yong Complaints After The U-20 Indonesian National Team Losing Tipis From Guatemala

JAKARTA - The U-20 Indonesian national team must recognize Guatemala's superiority in the last match of the International Friendly Match U-20 at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, Tuesday, February 21.

Raut's disappointment was evident in the face of the U-20 Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae-yong. The defeat was not the only one that made the former South Korean national team coach feel dissatisfied.

At least a number of complaints were made by Shin in a press conference after the game ended. The first is about Muhammad Ferrari and his friends.

He highlighted the physical and mental of his players who still needed to be improved. The coach also highlighted the mistakes his team made to give Guatemala a goal.

"It's a shame because there was a mistake from ourselves. That's what we have to fix," he said at a press conference.

In addition, Shin also admitted that he was disappointed with the performance of Thoriq Alkatiri who led the match. According to him, the field judge did not work well in that match.

"I'm confused as to why the referee is leading this match badly," said the 51-year-old coach.

Then, Shin Tae-yong's next complaint was about Guatemala's game. He felt the opposing team played a game that didn't deserve to be praised.

"Unfortunately, Guatemala's game is not good and dirty. It doesn't matter if they buy time or not. They are too chasing victory," he stressed.

Shin then explained why Ronaldo Kwateh and Hugo Samir did not play full in this match. Ronaldo and Hugo have been pulled out in the 73rd minute even though they only entered early in the second half.

"Ronaldo because his condition is not good, for Hugo, he has not adapted to the team," explained Shin Tae-yong.
