JAKARTA - The U-20 Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae-yong, has brought up the incompleteness of the squad in preparation for the U-20 Asian Cup and the 2023 U-20 World Cup.

As is known, there are three players who have not participated in training with the Garuda Nusantara squad. They are Marselino Ferdinand, Muhammad Ferrari and Ronaldo Kwateh.

The last name is reported to have been in Indonesia after completing matters with his new club in Turkey. He will soon join the Indonesian U-20 training camp.

While the other two names, it is not yet known when they will join their national team colleagues.

Shin said that Ferrari's joining has not yet been an injustice. The reason is, all other clubs have released their players who are called the national team.

"For Ferrari, it's actually very unfair. All clubs have been released by their players, but only Persija don't want to let go," Shin said after the Indonesia U-20 match against Fiji.

He emphasized that this happened because there was no national team regulation. So, according to him, it doesn't really make sense.

"I ask that as soon as possible he must be released so that other clubs do not protest to the national team," he said.

The South Korean coach also hopes that something like this will not happen again. He has also communicated with post-match players against Fiji on this issue.

"Earlier, after the match, I immediately discussed with the players in the dressing room so that it doesn't happen again for problems like this. In addition, I have also emphasized that players in the future should not do things like that again," he said.
