JAKARTA Arema FC officially ended the collaboration with their coach Javier Roca. Singo Edan's performance is the reason the club's management made the decision.

Commissioner of PT Arema Aremania Berpresasi, Tatang Dwi Arifianto informed that both parties ended their togetherness on Monday, February 6, 2023, after going through various considerations.

"As of today, February 6, 2023 Arema FC and coach Javier Roca have officially ended their cooperation," Tatang said in a statement received.

Arema is entering a difficult phase with tactician from Chile. In the last five games, they haven't even brought home a single point.

The results that make them still languish in tenth position in the standings with a collection of only 26 points. Singo Edan is 19 points adrift of Persib Bandung who is in the first position.

"Of course we would like to thank Javier Roca for the dedication that has been given to Arema FC," said Tatang.

After ending the collaboration with Roca, Arema immediately moved to find a new coach. They appointed former PSM Medan coach I Putu Gede to continue the 45-year-old coach's seat relay.

Gede will make his debut with Arema in the next match against RANS Nusantara FC on Wednesday, February 8.

RANS Nusantara itself was also accompanied by a new coach. The promotional club did not continue to be together with Rahmad Darmawan.
