Ancam Messi Gegar, Netizen Juluki Canelo "Kaynelo West"

JAKARTA - Saul "Canelo" Alvarez became the center of attention a few days ago when he threatened Argentine footballer Lionel Messi.

The Mexican wrote on Twitter to vent his anger after a video clip showing Messi's toe hit El Tri's jersey on the floor of Argentina's dressing room.

"Did you see Messi cleaning the dressing room with our jersey and flag? He better pray to God not to see me," Canelo wrote on Twitter at the time.

The incident occurred after Messi led Argentina to beat Mexico 2-0 in the second match of Group C, at the Lusail Stadium, Sunday, November 27 yesterday.

Fans and people close to football commented and considered it natural that the shirt was placed on the floor because the same thing would happen with Messi's shirt.

Canelo has apologized for his excessive reaction. However, fans on social media did not just forgive Canelo and immediately dubbed the boxer with ridiculous names.

One of the new nicknames is Sagill "Class"elvararez, because of his fragile nature. Another nickname that caught the eye was "Thiago" Alvarez, who referred to Messi's son, meaning fans regard Canelo as the Argentine's "son".

Last and most curious is "Kaynelo West", they think the Mexican is similar to Kanye West who is trying to be known for insulting and offending important people.
