Ready For Ladeni Gervonta Davis Next Year, Ryan Garcia: Dream Of Being Real

JAKARTA - Both Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia agreed to fight next year. However, both had to fight once before facing each other.

The agreed fight will take place on April 15. For that, both must maintain fitness and remain active.

Garcia revealed he had been trying to make this fight happen since he was a teenager and couldn't wait for the moment to beat Davis. That is, for King Ryan, this is a dream come true.

Speaking to Stephen A. Smith during the 'First Take' program at ESPN, Garcia was clear about what he wanted from this fight. Not to say, King Ryan believes he has what it takes to beat Davis.

"This fight means a lot to me. Since I was a kid, I've always wanted the biggest fight in the world. It was my dream and it's finally here," Garcia told Stephen A. Smith.

"I had to catch up but we're finally here, we're finally making it happen, and I can't be happier for this sport, for the fans and for everyone."

"Two young unbeaten fighters finally fought at their peak - I'm glad it happened. I've been the best since I was a kid, one of the best in the amateurs, and now I'm here in pros and here to finally start everything I've dreamed of.

"I've been asking for this fight since I was 17, 18 years old," concluded Garcia.
