JAKARTA - Gerard Pique played his last match with Barcelona as a professional player. The Spaniard decided to retire at the age of 35.
The match between Barcelona vs Almeria in La Liga continued, Saturday, November 5 yesterday, being the end of his career as a player. The hosts won the match 2-0.
After the game, Pique said goodbye. Speaking to fans, Shakira's ex-husband couldn't hold back tears.
"There is so much love and passion between Barcelona and me," Pique said, as quoted by Live Score.

"This is not farewell. I have been a member of the club since I was born, and I will die here," he continued.
Pique did decide to hang up his boots, but he did not say he would leave football.
