JAKARTA - President Director of Persis Solo Kaesang Pangarep said efforts to write to PSSI and PT Liga Indonesia Baru were made for better football changes.

As previously reported, Persebaya Surabaya agreed to send a letter to PSSI and PT LIB. The letter is reportedly related to the improvement of football and the fate of the competition after the Malang tragedy.

This agreement was taken after Persebaya and Persis officials held discussions in Solo, Monday, October 24.

"Surely the league hopes to be much better going forward. (As a result of the termination of the league) who still have money, they can still earn players' salaries, if the two leagues are screaming, let alone the three leagues," Kaesang said as quoted by Antara.

He said similar communication had also been made with other clubs. Among them are Bali United, RANS Nusantara FC, and Barito Putera.

"Later we will transfer the letter to the GMS (regarding) the Indonesian League and KLB," said the son of President Joko Widodo.

"Actually, we don't have a problem with the general chairman (PSSI), what we have a problem with when PSSI has a team owner is already a conflict of interest. We encourage that it doesn't happen," he continued.

Previously, the owner of Persebaya, Azrul Ananda, said that Persebaya and Persis were ready to provide support for the implementation of the KLB for the improvement of national football.

"We both agree that there will be improvements in Indonesian football. We support the good of Indonesian football, if it has to be KLB, yes KLB. Our main hope is that it must be improved, we agree with that," said Azrul.

He emphasized that what is no less important is that the league must continue. According to him, it is more urgent because it involves players, the continuity of clubs.

"Both are urgent because they are related. PT LIB is a company, when the management is involved in business, the shareholder club must think about what's next," he said.
