Francesco Bagnaia The War Of Serat Saraf Ahead Of The Australian MotoGP Racing

JAKARTA - Ducati Lenovo racer Francesco Bagnaia spreads a war of nerves (psychwar) in the midst of a cadre that alludes to the practice of team orders in the effort to win the 2022 MotoGP title.

The issue regarding the order team in Ducati's body to help Bagnaia, the world champion, began to stick out at the Thai Grand Prix on 2 October. At that time, Johann Zarco, who was also riding Ducati, was considered unwilling to overtake his team-mate.

Bagnaia does not deny that his current achievements cannot be separated from the help of others. However, he is confident that he can compete for this year's title without the help of the team order.

"I know my potential. I know that I can win without help in the race. Team orders are good, for sure. But that's not for now," he added.

Currently only Bagnaia has a chance to disturb Quartararo as the defending champion in the remaining three race series. The two riders filled the top two places in the drivers' standings.

Quartararo leads the top of the standings with a collection of 219 points, while Bagnaia trails in second place with a difference of only two points. The third place belongs to Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia) with 199 points.

Whether this team order practice is implemented or not, it remains to be seen at the Australian GP this weekend. However, what is clear is that Bagnaia is already determined to thwart the chance to win Quartararo.

"Fabio, for sure, is the one to beat. He is one of the strongest racers and world champion from last year, but I am in a better situation than Fabio," he said.

Bagnaia has won six wins so far this season. Meanwhile, Quartararo has only won half of the victory from the Italian rider.

Quartararo, who won his first title last season, has never recorded a win in the last seven races. During that period Bagnaia actually managed to win four wins

"What is certain is, in the last two races of the championship, some help will help me! But I have won six races because I am the strongest, not because someone is smoothing out my path," said Bagnaia.

The 2022 MotoGP will take place again at the Phillip Island Circuit on Monday, October 17. After that, the race will move to Malaysia before the Valencia Grand Prix ends on November 6.
