This Is The Comeback Date And Next Opponent Conor McGregor

JAKARTA - Conor McGregor took to Instagram to like posts that revealed his comeback date to the octagon, as well as his next possible opponent.

McGregor hasn't been in the ring or octagon since July 10, 2021, when he faced Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. In that duel, the Irish fighter suffered a broken leg which kept him out ever since.

"Conor McGregor will fight in the welterweight when he returns in early 2023," wrote the mmapack post The Notorious likes.

"Justin 'The Highlight' Gaethje is at the forefront of becoming McGregor," the post continued.

It should be noted that Gaethje and McGregor's last fight took place in the light category.

Meanwhile, after SunSport reported that there may be a boxing rematch between McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, a team of boxers nicknamed Money confirmed that both sides were in talks for the potential fight.

"I wanted to go there this weekend in Tokyo and have fun [against Mikuru Asakura]," Mayweather said last month, citing Marca, Monday.

"Then I held another exhibition in Dubai in November and Conor McGregor in 2023.

"We don't know if it's going to be an exhibition or a real fight. But there's already talk of the two. I'd rather expire."
