Extraordinary! The Indonesian National Team Beat Curacao With A Score Of 3-2

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team won well on FIFA Match Day against Curacao at the Gelora Stadium, Bandung, Sea of Fire, Saturday, September 24. Shin Tae-yong's team managed to win with a narrow score of 3-2.

Despite being a guest team, Curacao seems to want to prove his status as the 84th ranked state of FIFA. Since the beginning of the match, the visitors dominated possession and pressured Indonesia.

The match lasted eight minutes, Rangelo Janga successfully opened the scoring for Curacao when he swiftly took advantage of the ball that hit the home post.

In the 18th minute, the Garuda squad managed to equalize through Marc Klok's goal. Receiving a backheel pass from Egy Maulana Vikri, Dimas carefully forwarded the ball to Klok who was standing unguarded and just slotted it into the Curacao goal.

The goal seemed to trigger the spirit of the Garuda Squad. Four minutes later, the hosts turned 2-1 ahead over Curacao, when the throw into Primary Arhan was met by Fachruddin Aryanto's header.

Unfortunately, the advantage did not last long. In the 23rd minute, Curacao launched a quick counter-attack against Defense, Elkan Baggott et al. broke into Juninho Bacuna so that they could beat goalkeeper Nadeo Agrawinata.

Shin tried to increase Indonesia's fresh energy when the second half started by bringing in Marselino Ferdinand and Saddil Ramdani to replace Ricky Kambuaya and Egy.

In the 63rd minute, Indonesia managed to win again over the visitors through Dimas Drajad's goal. He took advantage of a mature pass from the good cooperation between Klok and Pratama Arhan.

Indonesia had a good chance when Marselino was violated by Artonton Statie not far from the penalty box, unfortunately Saddil's free-kick has not yet resulted in a goal.

The remaining time of the match passed without any meaningful chances and Indonesia managed to maintain a 3-2 advantage over Curacao until the whistle sounded.

This victory is clearly a positive capital for Indonesian players to increase their confidence before facing Curacao again in the next international friendly match at Pakansari Stadium, Bogor, Tuesday, September 29, next week.
