Chelsea's Central Lini Crisis Makes Thomas Tuchel Seven Consecutively: We Need More Players In Several Sectors

JAKARTA - Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, is dizzy by seven tours. He was frustrated by the lack of stock in midfield.

The crisis in the midfield sector was exacerbated by Conor Gallagher's red card against Leicester on Saturday.

While N'Golo Kante is still absent due to a thigh injury, Tuchel is still hesitant to field Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic who recently returned after a knee injury. Ruben Loftus-Cheek is now more functional as a full-back.

"The midfield is usually an area that makes me dizzy about who plays and who sits on the bench," Tuchel complained, as quoted by The Sun.

"This is an area where I think we will have five players who can all play for us and also have a Carnegie (Chukwuemeka) as an option as a young player."

"Headaches before the season starts when we have too many players there, but then the fifth game comes in and maybe we only have two players left with experience in midfield," he added.

According to the German manager, this is a strange situation and a situation he doesn't like. "I don't know why we're in this situation, really," Tuchel said.

With this condition, the former Borussia Dortmund coach again voiced the need to add players in several sectors. Not only in midfield, but also up front and in the back sector.

"Right now, I think we need more players in some positions, but it's very close to the end of the transfer window and when September 1 comes, I'll be a happy manager, whatever happens," he said.
