Moyes Said About West Ham's Victory Over Aton Villa: 3 Very Important Points For Us

JAKARTA - West Ham coach David Moyes was grateful for three important points when his team beat Aston Villa 1-0 in the 4th week of the Premier League at Villa Park Stadium, Birmingham, Sunday.

"I think it's becoming more competitive this season but for us, right now, it's three very important points for us," Moyes said, quoted by Antara, Monday.

The Scottish coach explained that West Ham could enter the game in the second half by working hard in the first half and defending in the game.

Moyes explained he told his team they had a great chance to win the game and in the end the Hammers were able to do well.

"We got more balls, we controlled a bit of the game and gave ourselves a better chance to create chances, which we did," Moyes explained.

In this match West Ham were able to come out victorious thanks to a mere goal scored by Spanish midfielder Pablo Fornals using a pass from Declan Rice in the 74th minute. The Hammers then travel to Tottenham Hotspur headquarters, Wednesday (31/8) evening local time.
