This Is The Reason Real Madrid Let Casemiro Join Manchester United

JAKARTA - Real Madrid are said to be undisturbed if their midfielder Casemiro decides to accept an offer from Manchester United (MU) in this summer's transfer window.

The Brazil international has been increasingly linked with a move to Old Trafford. Some reports even say he has received a lucrative contract proposal from the Red Devils.

"Casemiro will be speaking with Carlo Ancelotti in the next few hours to discuss his future," famous football journalist Fabrizio Romano wrote on his personal Twitter timeline.

Rumors of Casemiro's transfer to Manchester United seem to be coming true. The player has reportedly agreed to accept the offer and Los Blancos are reportedly not trying to hold on to the midfielder.

Spanish newspaper Marca said that Los Blancos' attitude meant they were in a strong position and would not be disturbed even if their mainstay player left.

Casemiro is one of three reliable midfielders at El Real at the moment who have helped the team to success in recent years. He along with Luka Modric and Toni Kroos became the main choices in midfield.

However, Real Madrid has worked with the assumption that over the next two seasons – this season and next – they will lose two of their three legendary midfielders.

Because Modric will turn 37 in September, while Kroos will be 32 and Casemiro will be 30. Thus, Modric is likely to be the first player to be released, following the two names.

However, if Casemiro were the first to leave it wouldn't be too disappointing for Los Blancos. The reason is, they recently got Aurelien Tchouameni who was plotted as a future midfielder.

To bring the French national team player, Madrid had to spend 80 million euros. The nominal was released with the calculation that he could be a cover for Casemiro and would become a major player in the future.

Casemiro also realized that his place would slowly be displaced by Tchouameni. Meanwhile, Madrid think it's best to accept Manchester United's offer now when Casemiro's selling price is still high.

If Casemiro decides to go for United, it could be the best decision. Apart from being not really needed by Madrid anymore, at Old Trafford his position as a starter would be very big compared to staying at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The fact that Madrid said it was up to him whether to leave or stay is important. Moreover, they already have young midfielders including Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde and Dani Ceballos.

However, Carlo Ancelotti's tactician is reportedly unwilling to let Casemiro leave. The Italian coach is said to be trying to keep his players in the current squad.
