Making History With The VR46 Racing Team, Marco Bezzechi: I Want To Thank Valentino Rossi

JAKARTA - The Mooney VR46 Racing Team racer, Marco Bezzechi, won the second podium when he appeared at the 2022 Dutch MotoGP, last weekend. This nick at the Assen Circuit is a historical record for Valentino Rossi's racing team.

This is the first podium for VR46 Racing and also Bezzechi. Previously they were only able to finish in fifth position. That was also achieved during the eighth series of the 2022 Italian MotoGP which was held at the Mugello Circuit.

The Italian rider admits this is a fantastic achievement. He did not expect to finally be on the podium at the Assen Circuit.

"This is fantastic. There are parts of the team that expected this, to be honest I wasn't like that. I didn't think it could be this fast," Bezzechi said in an interview with MotoGP.

Bezzechi then presented this podium to Valentino Rossi, the owner of the team and his idol. He hopes to continue to offer podiums for Rossi and the team.

"I want to thank him. He is my idol, for me it is very special to be a rider who gets a podium with this team," he said.

"I want to continue it. I hope to be able to give more offerings for him," continued the student of The Doctor.

This 11th series is the last series before the MotoGP tournament enters the summer break. Thanks to the victory in the last series of the first half, Bezzechi's position in the standings began to increase to rank 14 with 55 points.
