JAKARTA - Two Gresini Racing Team riders, Fabio Di Giannatonio (Diggia) and Enea Bastianini are determined to make them proud even though in practice there are many obstacles faced in the Dutch MotoGP race at the Assen Circuit which will take place on Sunday 26 June.

Diggia and Enea, based on data from the official MotoGP website, will start from positions 15 and 16. Obviously these positions are not profitable for the two riders who are supported by Federal Oil.

During qualifying, on a 4.542-meter track with a configuration of 12 right bends and 6 left bends, this Diggia recorded a time of 1:32.912 seconds.

Meanwhile, Enea, who both used the Ducati Desmosedici GP21, recorded a time of 1:33.005 seconds.

Diggia admitted that he was not happy with the qualifying results at the Assen circuit because the MotoGP debutant experienced several problems with the motorbike, even spending too long in the pit-box and wasting time.

"This condition means that I don't have time to use soft compound tires in the second session of the time attack. If there are no problems, it is possible to participate in Q2," said Diggia.

"We made adjustments in the afternoon session, but it had no effect. To be honest I hope to start the race further forward, and later in the warm-up session it will be more crucial to understand whether we will be competitive or not," added the rider with starting number 49.
