In the end, Aleix Espargaro tried to distance himself from the practice routine and everything related to racing. He took his children on an excursion to Euro Disney.

"Forgetting diet, not training for two days and having fun and it really works. I felt detached (from the routine) and now I'm back," said Espargaro.

"I completely forgot what happened at Barcelona and you know it was a silly mistake but you are fighting for the title this year."
