JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team will face Kuwait in the inaugural match of the 2023 Asian Cup qualification, Wednesday, June 8, evening. This will be a difficult match for the Garuda Squad considering Kuwait's status as the underdog host.

The coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, is aware of this. He said, there are three things that will be a challenge for his team in the match against Kuwait later.

Hot weather is one of the challenges that the Indonesian national team must face. "This is a difficult condition. But the players have tried to adapt and we are ready to fight on the field," said Shin, as reported by Antara from the official PSSI website.

The next challenge is the support of the home crowd. "They will certainly get support from the audience," said the South Korean coach.

The third challenge is of course the quality of Kuwait. The 52-year-old man assesses the quality of the opponent can endanger the Indonesian national team. "That's why we have to prepare well," said Shin.
