JAKARTA - Persik Kediri finally inaugurated their two new players for the Indonesian League 1 for the 2022/2023 season. The two players are Rendy Juliansyah and Sutan Zico.

Both are former Indonesian U-19 graduates, Indra Sjafrie. The introduction of Rendy and Sutan was carried out by the Gading Marten club through their Instagram social media.

"Sugeng Rawuh, The Duo-Bestie," the club said in a statement.

Rendy and Sutan were recruited after going through a trial process. Both were able to make coach Javier Rocha smitten.

Rendy Juliansyah previously strengthened Raffi Ahmad's club, Rans Cilegon FC, when he was still competing in Liga 2. However, he only lasted half a season due to injury.

Meanwhile, Sutan Zico previously joined Atta Halilintar's club, PSG Pati, which also competes in Liga 2. He is also noted to have worked with Persija Jakarta.

These two players had shone in the U-19 Indonesian National Team in the Indra Sjafrie era. Unfortunately, their light then dimmed after entering the senior level.
