Appearing At Real Madrid Vs Liverpool Champions League Final Opening Ceremony, Man City Fan Camila Cabello: So Excited, I Can't Wait!

JAKARTA - Singer Camila Cabello will headline the opening ceremony of this year's Champions League final - despite the fact that she is a Manchester City fan.

At the Stade de France in Paris on Saturday, May 28, the 25-year-old will begin the procession with some of her biggest hits, as well as songs from her third studio album, Familia.

However, this final will no doubt mean little to Camila as Man City failed to advance to the final after losing 5-6 on aggregate to Real Madrid in the semifinals.

“I am so excited to take to the stage in the UEFA Champions League final in Paris this month! I will put on a very special show, bringing together the spirit of my Latin heritage and a sense of community for sports and music fans around the world – I can't wait!” Camila said quoted from the Daily Star, Thursday.

Despite failing to reach the Champions League final, Man City are very likely to win the Premier League title after they beat Wolves 5-1 in the postponed match on Thursday morning WIB.

At the weekend, after The Citizens beat Newcastle, Pep Guardiola was involved in a war of words with Liverpool.

"Everyone in this country supports Liverpool, the media and everyone," said the Catalan coach.

"Of course because Liverpool have a great history in European competition. Not in the Premier League, because they have only won one title in 30 years, but that doesn't matter at all."

"Liverpool is with [Manchester] United as the most important team in terms of titles, heritage, history, drama for many things," said Guardiola.

"But we've been there for the last 11 or 12 years. I know sometimes we're uncomfortable, but I don't care if people want Liverpool to win more than us. It's not a problem."
