Real Madrid Seal The 2021/2022 Spanish La Liga Title At The Santiago Bernabeu After A Landslide Victory Against Espanyol

JAKARTA - Real Madrid confirmed themselves to win the Spanish La Liga, Saturday, April 30. The 4-0 win over Espanyol made it impossible for Los Blancos to be chased by their rivals.

An additional three points from Espanyol make Real Madrid now collect 81 points. With four games remaining, both Sevilla and Barcelona have been unable to overtake Luka Modric and his friends.

This is Real Madrid's 35th title in Spanish La Liga.

Real Madrid, which only needed a draw in the match against Espanyol, lowered the squad for coatings. The names of Karim Benzema, Toni Kross, Vinicius Junior and Dani Carvajal were on the bench.

Appearing with the "second" squad, Real Madrid had difficulties at the beginning of the match. However, towards the end of the first half, Carlo Ancelotti's team performed better.

The new deadlock broke in the 33rd minute. The ball given by Marcelo was executed well by Rodrygo.

In the 44th minute, Rodrygo listed his name on the scoreboard again. The first half ended 2-0 in favor of Real Madrid.

Real Madrid substitute Isco contributed a goal in the 72nd minute for his side after using a pass from another substitute, Karim Benzema. However, two minutes later, the goal was disallowed after the referee saw VAR.

Real Madrid really feasted on goals at the Santiago Bernabeu. Benzema scored the hosts' fourth goal after receiving the ball from Vinicius Jr. The score 4-0 for Los Blancos lasted until the end of the game.
